LSU Athletics Signs Multi-Year Gaming & Sportsbook Deal With Caesars

LSU Athletics has signed a multi-year agreement with Caesars Entertainment, which has designated the company’s sportsbook section as the athletics department’s official gaming and sportsbook partner.

The cooperation, which has been dubbed a “landmark alliance,” is intended to prioritise fan involvement while also boosting responsible sports gaming and education.

LSU Athletics will provide Caesars Sportsbook with a variety of marketing and sponsorship opportunities, including naming rights to the new Caesars Sportsbook Skyline Club at Tiger Stadium, stadium signage, and additional signage at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, Alex Box Stadium, and an exclusive presence on the LSU Sports Mobile App.

Furthermore, the company obtains broadcast and digital sponsorship rights, as well as possibilities for customers to attend events and receive hospitality, across all of LSU’s 21 men’s and women’s sports programmes.

Exemplified excellence

Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital said: “LSU Athletics programs have always exemplified excellence, and at Caesars, we couldn’t be happier to partner with such an iconic brand in college athletics.

“We have a proud legacy in Louisiana, and bringing LSU fans and alumni closer to the sports they love while also offering scholarship opportunities will help us build upon that.”

Caesars will create an annual scholarship fund to benefit Louisiana-based students in addition to making a financial commitment to LSU. Students pursuing majors in sports administration, commerce, and leadership will benefit from this.

Louisiana presence

The multi-year agreement enhances Caesars’ presence in Louisiana, which includes recent pledges to large-scale restorations that will transform Harrah’s New Orleans and Isle of Capri Lake Charles into Caesars New Orleans and Horseshoe Lake Charles, respectively. It also comes on the heels of the Caesars Superdome’s debut in New Orleans, as well as the start of sports betting in the Pelican State.

Scott Woodward, LSU Athletics director said: “LSU has always taken pride in providing fans with unique, innovative, and world-class experiences, and our new partnership with Caesars Entertainment will do just that.

“We share a clear vision of how athletics and entertainment can come together to enhance the fan experience, and we are excited to join with Caesars to make that vision a reality.”
