Kwiff’s’ ‘supercharge player odds’ sports betting app announced Charles Lee’s appointment as new Chief Executive Officer effective from the beginning of 2020.
Lee is promoted to CEO, having previously served as Kwiff’s Head of Sportsbook during 2018-2019, and will be tasked with leading the company as the London-based start-up seeks to expand its B2B capabilities.
Lee’s promotion sees Kwiff incumbent CEO Philip Lofgren end his three-year tenure in leadership. Lee is the third Chief Executive to lead Kwiff operations after Karl Engström, former company founder and CEO, founded the company in 2014.
Lee is the former Head of Trading for leading UK private bookmaker Fitzdares, a seasoned industry executive with experience in top wagering and product operations.
Lee reflected on his role as Leader: “It’s a very exciting time for Kwiff, we’ve seen considerable growth in 2019 which we will look to continue this year and beyond. We want to build on our success within the UK and have plans to explore new markets and expand on our already successful proprietary technology platforms”.
“The board and I would like to thank Philip Lofgren for all of his input in the company over the past three years.”
