OLG Announce PROLINE+ Digital Sports Betting Platform Launch

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has announced its digital sports betting platform PROLINE+ in response to new legislation allowing single-event sports wagering in Canada.

PROLINE+ will enable its Ontario users to place a legal wager on a single event via their mobile device, tablet, or desktop device on August 27, the same day that Canada’s sports betting legislation takes effect.

Duncan Hannay, President and CEO of the OLG, said: “OLG has been looking forward to offering single-event sports wagering to adult Ontarians for many years. We’re thrilled that we’ll be able to incorporate this exciting feature that bettors have been anxiously awaiting into Ontario’s only legal online sportsbook.

“In fact, OLG is imminently launching a new digital sports betting platform PROLINE+, which will provide the same security and trust that has been established by OLG’s sports products over the last thirty years.”

Early registration

PROLINE+, which features thousands of additional betting possibilities available at any time across all major North American sports leagues and major international sports such as soccer, tennis, golf, boxing, and mixed martial arts, is now accepting early registrations.

When PROLINE+ becomes live, active OLG.ca customers can connect in with their current accounts, while new players can sign up at proline.ca and be eligible for a $50 sports bonus offer.

PROLINE+ supports responsible gambling by including player tools and instructional materials from OLG’s internationally acclaimed PlaySmart programme, which has been awarded the highest level of certification by the World Lottery Association.

The Ontario Government receives all of OLG’s profits, which it reinvests in strong communities, health care, and other provincial priorities.
