The Irish Greyhound Board (IGB) has approved Sportech Plc, a racing network provider, to update its Tote wagering services across its portfolio of Ireland track syndicates.
IGB upgrades the new’ Series 7 Tote’ to Sportech’s state-of – the-art Quantum™ programme to secure a multi-year deal with the company Sportech Racing and Digital.
The deal sees the IGB partner with the tote betting system ‘ most widely deployed,’ thus maximising the Irish greyhound racing wagering ability with new types of pool bets, increased market choice and unparalleled global pool mixing capabilities.
Tote and Wagering Director at the Irish Greyhound Board Joe Lewins stated: “The Irish Greyhound Board is happy to be making this important investment in our betting operation with the upgrade to Sportech’s Quantum™ Tote and look forward to delivering an overall improved betting experience to our players. In addition, Sportech’s Racing and Digital department will be creating tailor-made products and apps for Irish greyhound racing to enhance their activities and customer commitments.
