SIS Obtains Broadcasting Rights For Saudi Arabia Racing

For the full schedule of Saudi Arabian racing, Sports Information Services (SIS) has obtained the live image and data rights, with the deal expected to include The Saudi Cup.

The full Saudi Arabian racing schedule will be made available to the customer network of SIS via its live broadcast retail and online services, including its 24/7 Live Betting Networks, after forming a two-year agreement.

The Head of International Horse Racing at SIS, Will Morris, said: “We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with The Saudi Cup and distributing live pictures and data from the best of Saudi Arabian racing, including the world’s most valuable race.

“Through this deal we look forward to offering our customers across the globe even more first-class international racing as well as a significant number of new betting opportunities.”

All Saudi Arabian races

Going forward, the end-to-end broadcast solution of SIS would serve all Saudi Arabian races, thereby providing bookmakers with lucrative short-form content during the day.

In addition, on 20 February, SIS will broadcast The Saudi Cup. Because of its $20 million prize fund and the individual $10 million cheque given out to the Saudi Cup race winner, the fixture was previously known as the world’s most valuable horse race.

The Saudi Arabian announcement supports the global foreign racing portfolio of SIS, which also includes activities from the Czech Republic, Germany, Dubai, Hungary, Latin America, Mauritius and Singapore, as well as the United Kingdom and Ireland.
