FanDuel And MotorCity Casino Go Live In Michigan

In partnership with MotorCity Casino, FanDuel Group has gone live in Michigan with the launch of a fully integrated, real money online gaming experience for residents and tourists in the state. For iOS and Android, both the FanDuel Sportsbook & Casino app and the standalone FanDuel Casino app are available.

Customers in Michigan can now use fantasy sports, sportsbooks and casino wins interchangeably between items as a supplement to the company’s fantasy sports app.

Michigan, joining New Jersey, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Tennessee and Virginia, is the tenth state where FanDuel provides mobile sports betting. The introduction of online sports betting adds another dimension to the FanDuel Sportsbook that opened in March 2020 at MotorCity Casino in Detroit. It also marks the third state where, alongside New Jersey and Pennsylvania, FanDuel offers mobile casino games.

Risk-free first bet of up to $1,000

For new customers in Michigan, the FanDuel Sportsbook app will feature a special risk-free first bet of up to $1,000 with the operator repaying the cost of a customer’s first wager, up to $1,000, within 72 hours.

FanDuel will also deliver casino games in Michigan through two mobile applications, the standalone FanDuel Casino app, and inside the FanDuel Sportsbook app’s casino lobby. The standalone FanDuel casino is available for download on iOS and Android or through the web at casino.fanduel.com, also in partnership with MotorCity Casino. An expanded library of slots, blackjack games, roulette games, video poker games and baccarat games is available on the FanDuel Casino app.
