The board of 888 Holdings has expanded its governance advisory to confirm Limor Ganot’s appointment as non-executive corporate director.
Ganot is the managing director of US / Israeli venture capital firm Gefen Capital, a seasoned leader in corporate management and strategic planning for technology enterprises.
An Israeli business chief, Ganot has also worked as CO-CEO and VP of M&A Business Development for the Alon Blue Square Israeli retail and real estate investment company (2004-2014).
Ganot has worked on the board of Diners Club International since 2014, and held advisory positions for Twine Solutions and Saturas Ltd start-ups.
“I am delighted to welcome Limor to the 888 board,” said 888 Chairman Brian Mattingley on Ganot’s appointment.
“Her involvement as a leader in a diverse range of businesses, together with her understanding of disruptive technologies, will be of significant benefit to 888 as we continue to grow and develop as a global leader in online gaming.”
Itai Pazner, CEO of 888, boosted the company’s 2020 EBITDA outlook this June, noting that output was substantially ahead of expectations showing high levels of customer engagement during the first six months of year trading.
888 reported an average rise in daily sales of 34 percent year-on-year, due to higher consumer numbers in the second half of 2019, acknowledging a ‘structural shift towards online gaming accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic’.
