In Italy, Germany, France, and Japan, Wanyoo plans to grow its eSports centre franchise business. It currently has over 1000 stores in China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, and Canada.
It was in 1998 that Wanyoo opened the first internet café in Shanghai. From there it grew from an internet café to an eSports hub to make offline internet gaming more fun for game players all over the world.
Serving more than 40m gamers worldwide
The idea of an eSports centre is to provide e-sports players with a complex of video games, food and drinks, games-related activities, and a social space, rather than merely providing internet facilities in a café. Wanyoo eSports centres will have served more than 40 million gamers worldwide by the end of 2020.
Wanyoo maintains its worldwide presence by closely cooperating with eSports clubs, international and domestic leagues, and video game publishers through its global alliances and players. Wanyoo has been endorsed by two well-known esports teams, IG and 4AM, for years. Wanyoo has formed an alliance with PGI.S.2021. Wanyoo Gaming Center was appointed the official affiliate of the LOL NATIONAL NETBAR LEAGUE CHINA in 2019. Wanyoo organised the first international Wanyoo eSports centre league the same year, which featured Wanyoo participants from New York, London, Singapore, and other cities.
Local relationships are also essential to Wanyoo and its shops. Wanyoo backed the CSSA UK 2019 LOL tournament in the United Kingdom. The Wanyoo eSports centre in Canada aided a local college in establishing an esports team.
There are 12 Wanyoo eSports centres in America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Singapore, in addition to where Wanyoo originated. These shops aim to have the most fun playing experience for local gamers. Wanyoo plans to open 50 stores outside of China in the next three years.
