The position of Sarah Butterfass as its new Chief Product Officer has been announced by FanDuel, who will be heading the product development organisation of the company, reporting to CEO Matt King of FanDuel Group, effective October 19.

Butterfass was formerly the Chief Product Officer of Groupon, the online marketplace company where she managed the global product organisation to build the future of Groupon ‘s experience across all platforms for customers and businesses. For Groupon categories, including Things to Do, Live, Travel , Food & Drink, Beauty & Wellness, and Groupon’s Bookable marketplace, she also led the vertical strategy.
Butterfass served as Senior Vice President and Head of Customer Experience at E*Trade, an electronic trading platform, before joining Groupon in 2018. She led product teams for all E*Trade in this position, including etrade.com, mobile, advanced trading platforms, and all product verticals, including Participants in Trading, Investing, and Stock Plan.
