With its lottery retailer and applications technology, digital platforms and games, and sports betting technology, the tech association cited SG’s ongoing large-scale innovation ventures.
“Georgia has emerged as a leading technology hotbed on the East Coast of the US, and it is an honour to be recognised with other innovation-driven companies in the state,” said Lottery Group Chief Executive for Scientific Games Pat McHugh.
He added that the company has been using tech innovation to improve the entertainment experience for lottery players and wisely maximise profit for beneficiaries of the lottery, such as education and social initiatives.
“We are excited about our continued innovations in our core lottery business, as well as the emerging regulated digital games and sports betting markets in the US,” he said.
Together with other Top 10 Innovative Companies, McHugh will give a brief presentation at TAG’s Summit 2020, which will take place from 3 to 4 March at the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta.
The Summit brings together more than 1,300 leaders in technology, industry and thinking focused around the most influential and important developments that today inspire, disrupt and drive innovation.
