At New York’s Resorts World Catskills Casino and Spa, which reopened last month following a COVID-19 imposed closure, International Game Technology has incorporated its Spa Wallet cashless solution.
The solution will offer the option of contacts and a stable cashless gaming experience for customers. Players can use their real World Catskills ‘Players Club’ Resorts card to load cash from either the casino cashier or any slot machine into a protected digital wallet, and access those funds from any machine.
By minimising cash handling and the ease of accessing funds at any time, Resort Wallet improves safety and helps to achieve greater operational efficiencies by reducing cash handling costs and related protection and safety risks.

The Resort Wallet solution, part of the product suite for IGT Advantage systems player experience, is available as a turnkey, add-on module for customers of the casino management system who want to offer a cashless wagering option to players.
