At Encore Boston Harbor, Wynn Resorts has reduced its $50 table game minimum to $15, whilst also eliminating self-parking fees.
The $2.6bn estate seeks to draw a larger crowd beyond VIP players, with an optional tiered card system to reward players.
Encore Boston Harbor, opened this year, had previously had no problem attracting high rollers, although some of the populations in Boston still feeling alienated.
Upon succeeding Robert DeSalvio in October, Encore Boston Harbor President Brian Gullbrants said: “The last thing we want to do is be a Vegas casino in Boston.
“We want to be a Boston casino in Boston. We want to be Greater Boston’s hometown casino.
“We want everyone to come and feel welcome and like they can have a great time there, whether they are playing or not playing.
“We thought we could charge for parking here in Boston and we were wrong.”
