Addison Global, headquartered in Gibraltar, is set to launch its flagship mobile sportsbook MoPlay in collaboration with TV Azteca in Mexico’s booming sports betting industry.
Updating investors, Addison Governance announced that it had signed a strategic business agreement with the gambling branch of the TV station ‘Ganador Azteca,’ allowing MoPlay to launch its online betting services in Mexico.
The agreement allows Addison to satisfy all conditions for Mexican regulatory approval when promoting its MoPlay product through the national broadcast network of TV Azteca.
MoPlay is the second international online sportsbook to obtain its licencing terms through Ganador Azteca, which negotiated a similar fulfilment with bet365 this summer–allowing the UK operator to launch their bet365.mx domain.
Addison Global chief executive Juergen Reutter said: “This latest market expansion represents a significant step forward for our business. Mexico is a sports-mad, digital-savvy market, with massive potential for our sector. MoPlay brings a mobile-first, millennial-focused product offering that will make a significant impact.”
Addison has also signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Liga MX team Atlas Guadalajara to release the Mexican profile of MoPlay.
In addition, MoPlay will use popular football presenter Ines Sainz as its first Mexican brand ambassador, promoting the brand to more than four million followers of social media.
