After receiving approval from the Tennessee Education Lottery Corp.’s Sports Wagering Committee earlier this year, WynnBET, Wynn Resorts’ online gaming subsidiary, launched its mobile sportsbook in Tennessee on Friday.

In the all-online Tennessee sports betting industry, there are now seven active sportsbooks. DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Action 24/7, TwinSpires, William Hill and now WynnBet.

With four sportsbooks, the market went live on November 1st.

On March 11th, William Hill launched its online sportsbook in Tennessee, and TwinSpires launched on March 19th, both in time for March Madness.

Tennessee’s sports betting handle for March was $205.9 million, up $29.6 million (16.8 percent) from February’s $176.3 million. The figure for March fell just short of the previous high of $211.3 million set in January.
