For sports gaming in Tennessee, WynnBET, the casino and sports betting app built by Wynn Resorts, has been conditionally licensed.
The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation’s Board of Directors’ Sports Wagering Committee approved WynnBET to operate its online sports betting app in the state, pending compliance with go-live legislative and regulatory requirements.
Fast tracking growth strategy
Tennessee represents the ninth state to which WynnBET has acquired market access as the business fast-tracks its growth strategy to meet the demands of the fast-moving online and mobile sports betting industry.
The WynnBET app provides, the company said, an ultra-intuitive and highly sensitive interface that offers hundreds of options for sports betting to “delight both aficionados and beginners alike”.
With a multi-season marketing partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA, the move to Tennessee was also marked. WynnBET and the Grizzlies will concentrate on an ambitious digital-first approach, breaking the limits of conventional collaborations in sports marketing by creating and fostering high-impact interactions that are emblematic of both brands’ energy and enthusiasm.
WynnBET, an on-demand media network and interactive production studio, will provide deep-rooted integrations across a variety of the most common digital and television programs from the Grizzlies and Grind City Media. In addition, the two parties will partner on cross-promotional activities, including social media, online and smartphone apps, exploiting the digital footprint of the Grizzlies.
Fans can look forward to exclusive live experiences inside the stadium, including a WynnBET branded lounge, with some additional features to be revealed closer to the official launch of the virtual sports book in the state.
The Grizzlies partnership comes on the heels of WynnBET being named NASCAR’s Approved Gaming Operator and the Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway’s Official Online Sportsbook, pending license in Virginia.
