After the online casino games supplier earned certification to sell part of its slot portfolio in the regulated online market of the country, Wazdan added Colombia to its increasing set of certified jurisdictions.
As a consequence, the supplier will be able to enter what it terms “one of Latin America’s largest regulated jurisdictions,” with the accelerated regulated business approach celebrated as offering new growth opportunities.
Wazdan says that it will give local operators a “diverse slot portfolio,” headlined by 9Lions and Larry the Leprechaun. As the company seeks to draw gamers of all tastes and demographics, its diverse portfolio of games aims to offer a variety of mechanics and gameplay.
Head of Business Developement for Spain and Latin America at Wazdan, Albert Bellavista, commented: “Colombia’s solid regulatory framework makes it the logical location for us to focus our Latin American expansion and we’re looking forward to forming successful and longstanding partnerships in the market.
“This certification is yet another milestone for our business and we have no doubt that the popularity of our games with local players will see them become staples of operators’ online lobbies.”
This new accreditation comes shortly after Wazdan earned similar certification in Spain, which was celebrated as marking another move forward in the company’s plans to dramatically expand operation around the globe in controlled markets.
