On Thursday, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas reported the grand opening date of the property is January 15, 2021.
The company said the revitalised house, part of Hilton’s Curio Collection, would open as Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on that date at a press event featuring house partners and investors at the porte-cochere, being unveiled on a digital mobile billboard.
Richard Bosworth, President and CEO of JC Hospitality, owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, emphasised during his speech the strength of the entire Las Vegas city’s hospitality, gaming and entertainment industry and shared how he looks forward to getting employees back to work. “Lightning will strike twice at 4455 Paradise,” he said, according to a news release. At the unique land, he also shared what he is most excited about, including the more than 1,500 renovated rooms, the upgraded entertainment venues, the high-profile food and drink portfolio, the unique gaming floor and the expanded meeting and conference spaces.
Bosworth also thanked his on-site collaborators for the event, including Michael Sacco, Special Assistant to Virgin Hotels CEO; Bobby Reynolds, Senior Vice President of AEG Las Vegas; Todd English, James Beard Award-winning chef; Joe Hasson, Mohegan Sun Casino General Manager at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas; MB Steak’s Jenna Morton; and JC Hospitality’s Jay Wolf.
The area formerly owned by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be used by JC Hospitality, who will run the Strip site. The complex will include Mohegan Sun Casino, owned by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment which is 60,000 sq. ft. a five-acre desert pool oasis with a multi-functional event lawn; 4,500 capacity live music and entertainment theatre; a signature showroom seating 650 guests; an exclusive collection of twelve locations for food and drink.
The highly awaited arrival of Virgin Hotels comes as many new resorts, including Circa and Resorts World, are set to open in the coming months.
