Ex-footballer Vinnie Jones has collaborated with the independent sports betting comparison site Easyodds.com. Jones will be giving his thoughts and opinion through articles on the site.
In its official press release, Easyodds, who were established in Leeds, said Jones contacted them after seeing that Leeds United memorabilia was being given away. The being from the time when the ex-midfielder was at the club.
The former Wales international is best-known for its hard-tacking style, plus its Wimbledon stint. He was part of the’ Crazy Gang ‘, which in the 1988 FA Cup Final defeated Liverpool famously.
After his playing days he adopted that no-nonsense approach on the pitch. Jones expressed his thoughts after the Partnership was revealed, stating: “I immediately got on with the guys at easyodds.com. Like me, they love their sport and they hate seeing punters getting ripped off.”
A Leeds shirt from 1989-1991 was the memorabilia which prompted the footballer-turned-actor to contact Easyodds intially. I has been signed by him and worn in 1990 during the promotion of the club from the Second Division. They went on to achieve the First Division two years later. The shirt is the first reward that the comparison site is providing, sitting alongside the winner’s £ 200 voucher.
The second prize is signed and framed portraits of Vinnie Jones, plus £ 100 for the Low6 account of the winner.
There are also five runners-up prizes on available with £ 20 to be credited to the winners account for each of these.
Low6 is Easyodds game that covers horse and football racing. For football, you choose your betting slip for six matches. Whereas, the version of horse racing requires players to pick two out of each which they think will be the best-performing.
