Starting with the 2022-23 NHL season, the Washington Capitals and Caesars Entertainment have agreed to a multi-year collaboration that will see the Caesars Sportsbook logo appear on the team’s home and third jerseys for games played at Capital One Arena.
Caesars Sportsbook will have its emblem worn with the 3 x 3.5 inch patch positioned on the upper right breast area of the jersey, according to the statement, which is the first team-announced arrangement in the NHL’s Jersey Advertising Program.
Monumental Sports & Entertainment and Caesars Sportsbook are expanding their collaboration with additional Casino, Gaming, and Caesars Rewards programming aspects in addition to the home jersey patch. In addition, the partnership grants access to a Caesars hospitality suite and VIP seating at Capital One Arena.
First-of-its-kind announced partnership

When distinct sponsors appear on home and away jerseys, the Jersey Advertising Program enables up to two jersey sponsors per team beginning with the 2022-23 NHL season. At a later date, the Capitals will reveal their away jersey sponsor.

In May 2021, MSE and Caesars Entertainment debuted Caesars Sportsbook at MSE’s Capital One Arena, making it the first sports betting venue to open within a US professional sports stadium.
