Sportradar, NBA Agree 10-Year Betting Data Partnership

Sportradar have agreed a 10-year partnership that will see them have the exclusive betting data rights with the National Basketball Association.

The renewed partnership, this time exclusive, is set to begin at the start of the 2023/24 season and will see Sportradar receive betting data rights relating to NBA, WNBA and NBA G League games.

Sportradar is a leading international sports technology company that is active within 19 different countries. As part of the deal, the NBA will also receive an undisclosed equity stake in Sportradar going forward.

It is the latest in a line of partnership deals that have been agreed by Sportradar, who have also agreed deals with DraftKings, Bally’s, FanDuel and the NHL in recent times. With their sportsbook deals they are providing live and pre-match betting services, as well as betting entertainment tools.

As for their deal with the NHL, which is likely to be more aligned with the NBA deal, they have made the NHL their partner for betting data rights, betting streaming rights, media data rights and integrity.

This latest deal is a continuation from an earlier deal agreed in 2016 that saw Sportradar provide real-time statistics for the league. Now, they will be the sole, exclusive betting data provider.
