Checkd Media has bolstered its senior management team by appointing Michael Scott to the newly created post of Head of Organic Media, which will focus on SEO development.
In addition to driving conversion, the new hire will seek to optimise traffic across the firm’s Footy Accumulators, The Winners Enclosure, and Oddschanger websites. Scott was previously the SEO Lead at MAG-O, Manchester Airports Group’s digital arm.
Chekd Group’s interest in SEO has been bolstered by the promotion of Ollie Dickinson from Senior SEO Executive to SEO Manager, as well as the separation of its Organic Media and Performance Media (Paid) departments, with Dylan Casey elevated from Manager to Head of the latter.

Scott said of his new role: “Checkd is an innovative, vibrant company that already has incredible influence across its channels. My aim is to lead a strategy that further increases traffic, to build on the successes already gained and to focus on growth for the future. It is a fantastic time to be making the move and I can’t wait to get going.”
Chekd Group is putting more emphasis on SEO development as it prepares to enter the growing US sports betting market, while maintaining partnerships with tier-one bookmakers like Betfair, Sky Betting and Gaming, and SKB, and developing “bespoke builds” for media companies through its Checkd Development arm.
