Bally’s Corporation has signed a multi-year market agreement with Boot Hill Casino & Resort in Dodge City, Kansas, to expand its footprint into a 14th state.
With the planned Kansas state sports betting legislation, Boot Hill Casino is dedicated to implementing Bally Bet, Bally’s mobile sportsbook, as a manager on behalf of the Kansas Lottery, in a timely and effective manner to give access to sports betting upon approval of the bill.
Additionally, the business anticipates that its media collaboration with Sinclair Broadcast Group, which allows Bally’s to integrate programming into its portfolio of 19 regional sports networks, will draw sports enthusiasts from nearby states to the Kansas mobile sportsbook.
Exciting time in Kansas Gaming
Clark Stewart, chief executive officer of Boot Hill Casino & Resort said: “This is an exciting time in Kansas gaming history, and as a manager for the Kansas Lottery, we are thrilled to embark on this pivotal endeavour with Bally’s.
“Bally’s has demonstrated impressive growth and has an outstanding operating track record. We are confident that bringing Bally’s diverse and interactive suite of online sports betting solutions to the Boot Hill Casino will significantly enhance the gaming experience for Kansas sports fans.”
The Kansas Lottery owns and operates all gambling in Kansas. The lottery would be granted a licence, transfer, or lease of the appropriate Bally’s mobile sportsbook elements, as required by law.
Nationwide presence
Bally’s nationwide presence would grow to 14 states if it could provide mobile sports betting in Kansas, joining Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, Nevada, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, and Virginia.
Kansas is the third state where Bally’s does not have a land-based casino and would instead rely on its internet platform to develop a foothold.
Bally’s Corporation President and CEO George Papanier said: “We are extremely excited to work with Boot Hill Casino & Resort in Kansas.
“This relationship, which marks the 14th state in which customers can access our omni-channel platform, provides a significant opportunity for Bally’s to enter into yet another attractive mobile sports betting market.
“With the approval of pending sports betting legislation in the state, we can’t wait for Kansas sports fans to engage in our best-in-class online sports betting offerings.”
