Total Performance Data (TPD), a live racing data provider, has teamed up with ElTurf.com, Latin America’s leading distributor of horse racing media content, to capture equine performances around the clock and around the world.
The first Chilean racetrack has already signed up, and the implementation phase is underway, according to TPD.
Following Europe and North America, this new LatAm deal expands TPD’s global presence to three continents. The data specialist currently works at 24 UK racetracks, including Ascot, Doncaster, and Chester, as well as 16 racetracks in North America, including Del Mar, Tampa Bay, and Woodbine.
Total Performance Data’s CEO, Will Duff Gordon, said: “We are delighted to be working with Gonzalo Reyes and the ElTurf team to set up as many tracks as possible in Latin America. Sport and betting are increasingly global and we look to offer the same information on horse racing in Chester or Chile.”
ElTurf.com Director Gonzalo Reyes said: “We are very pleased to start working with TPD in Latin America as it means advancing in the areas that we like the most, technology and data. It will provide great benefits to the Latin American fans who will have new information for their betting decisions and improved graphics on the streaming service.
“The technology will significantly raise the standard of information to boost the export of races to more demanding and significantly larger markets. All this will be deployed during our first installation to then expand to the other racetracks in the region, with the informational available on our ElTurf.com platform.”
