Score Media and Gaming, theScore’s parent company, has secured market access to offer mobile sports betting in Colorado through a deal with a subsidiary of US gaming operator Jacobs Entertainment Inc (JEI) yesterday.
The company stated that it anticipates launching its mobile sportsbook, theScore Bet, in the state later this year, subject to receiving all relevant licences and approval from the Colorado Division of Gaming.
Under the terms of the agreement, JEI will receive a percentage of revenue from the Colorado mobile sports betting activities of theScore Bet, subject to certain minimum guaranteed sums per annum, and an upfront fee. The agreement, at the discretion of theScore, spans an initial 10-year term, extendable for two successive five-year renewal terms.

We’ve already seen exciting early momentum from our mobile sportsbook in our launch state of New Jersey. Now we are focused on its multi-state rollout while driving ongoing product innovations to further strengthen the connection between our media and gaming platforms, leveraging our incredibly powerful and highly-engaged sports app audience.”
