Score Media and Gaming Inc has reported that its subsidiary, Score Digital Sports Ventures Inc (theScore Bet), has been awarded Gaming Laboratories International GLI-33 certification for its mobile sports betting application and the sportsbook player account management software it aims to introduce in Colorado.
The latest news follows the company announcing it had received GLI certification for its Indiana device late last week.
With the Bet. Works Sports Wagering Platform version 1.1.0, GLI ‘s review of theScore Bet app and the Sportsbook Player account management framework was completed. Achieving GLI-33 certification satisfies one of the remaining regulatory approvals that are required before the Score Bet can offer wagering in Colorado.
John Levy, Founder and CEO of theScore said: “This is yet another significant milestone towards the multi-state expansion of theScore Bet, coming just days after we also secured GLI-33 certification for Indiana. We can’t wait to bring theScore Bet to Colorado and showcase the uniquely integrated media and gaming experience our team has created.”
TheScore gained market access to provide mobile sports betting in Colorado through its previously announced agreement with a subsidiary of US gaming operator Jacobs Entertainment Inc. and expects theScore Bet to be launched later this summer, subject to the Score of the Gaming Division of Colorado’s relevant regulatory requirements.
