Leading Greek online bookmaker Stoiximan Group has released its latest television advertisement campaign thanking the emergency services of Greece and the general public in their efforts to contain the Coronavirus outbreak.
The ‘#OneTeam’ campaign sees Stoiximan not advertising any of its betting facilities, with the bookmaker opting to use their broadcasts to ‘express gratitude and solidarity’ to all Greeks battling the disease.
Greece (population 11 m) has reported among Europe’s lowest COVID-19 cases (2,700) and deaths (150), following years of austerity undermining public health networks.
By preventing a pandemic scenario plaguing its neighbours, foreign health experts have identified Greece as a role model in their anti-virus activities, with emergency services implementing early measures to suppress the virus and residents enforcing strict national lockdown policies.
Calling on his roster of supported athletes, Eleftherios Petrounias, Katerina Stefanidis, Anna Korakaki, Spyros Gianniotis and Vassiliki Milousi, along with Greek sporting giants Dimitris Diamantidis, Giorgos Samaras, Mathieu Valbuena and Adelino Vieira – Stoiximan applauds ‘Greece’s frontline to defy the odds.’
Stoiximan Group made individual contributions of €250,000 to emergency services through which it operates flagship brands Stoiximan (Greece and Cyprus) and Betano (Romania and Portugal) in the wake of the campaign launch.
