Stats Perform has expanded its betting-related content significantly to help bookmaker clients navigate the complexities of lockdown, facing the global downturn in live sports content.
The sports-tech innovation studio has outlined that the launch of new esports and PDC Darts programming would amplify its Watch&Bet service for bookmakers.
Watch&Bet will showcase the famous BLAST CS:GO ‘Spring Series Showdown,’ a ‘esports festival’ running games and tournaments from May to June of this year, in conjunction with leading sports organisation BLAST.
In particular, Stats Perform has worked with BLAST to produce its new ‘Rising Series’ – a brand new CS:GO tournament format that will be launched and streamed from 4 May on the Watch&Bet platform. Branded by Stats Perform as a major coup, Watch&Bet has also secured the rights to live-stream PDC Darts’ ‘Unibet Home Tour.’
The PDC Home Tour already completes its group stages and consists of 32 consecutive nights of live-action darts. The PDC has gained a global audience with leading darts players, keeping sports fans enthralled through national lockdowns.
Stats Perform Chief Rights Officer Alex Rice, planning for a ‘major May,’ commented:“We are pleased to bring these new properties to the licensed betting market, and help our clients during a period when high-quality live-action is at a premium.
“Live streams help bettors make more informed betting decisions and create a more complete betting entertainment experience, and we are working hard to find and develop more quality properties that will have a similar impact during this period.”
