At two of its Nevada properties, Station Casinos has opened on-site medical centres for employees.
If they earn less than $41,600 annually or $20 per hour, station employees may obtain medical treatment at Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa or Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, the company said.
Free doctor visits, lab testing and generic medications will be included in the health care services. The organisation said it would like to add dental and eye care to the list eventually.
Although Stations claimed that in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, medical centres were not opened, it added that it was pleased to be able to assist its employees in a year in which the value of healthcare was particularly apparent.
Activate Healthcare, an Indianapolis-based organisation with 350 health centres across 32 states, will be run by station clinics.
After a rise in coronavirus cases in the state, casinos in Nevada are currently operating at 25 percent capacity. There will be limitations in effect until mid-January.
