Stakelogic Grow In-House Development With Hurricane Games Acquisition

Stakelogic has completed its second purchase in as many weeks, purchasing Hurricane Games as part of a continued push to improve and increase its in-house development skills.

Stakelogic’s development capability has been strengthened by the acquisition of the studio, which has been working closely with the company through its Greenlogic development partner programme.

After the acquisition, the Hurricane Games team will be kept and given creative and technical freedom to design and develop games while being backed by Stakelogic and its staff of designers, developers, marketers, mathematicians, and others.

Incredible concepts in the pipeline

Andrew Fraser, director at Hurricane Games said: “Stakelogic has been instrumental in our rise to date and I am thrilled to further strengthen the relationship between both studios via this acquisition.

“We have some incredible concepts in the pipeline, and now that we are part of the Stakelogic family have the resources to bring them to life and deliver the best possible player experience across all of our titles.”

Stakelogic recently purchased Smart&Applied to become Stakelogic Serbia as part of its aforementioned upgrade aims, and the strategic purchase comes just days after that.
