Develops VR VIP Experience For Saints Fans

Cryptocurrency sportsbook has developed a fresh VIP experience as part of their club collaborations with Southampton FC, using virtual reality (VR) technology to capture at home the magic of matchday.

First Virtual Reality experience

Ahead of Southampton FC’s home fixture against Manchester City in December 2020, the first Virtual Reality experience was delivered and included a tour of St Mary’s stadium with Saints legends Franny Benali and Matthew Le Tisser, as well as a penalty masterclass with Le Tissier.

In 2021, further action is due, with the opportunity to further extend the experiences on offer across their club sponsorships.

Cryptocurrency’s future in football

Initiative created in response to pandemic

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the initiative was created by the innovative and PR agency Fuse from, acting as a digital solution to enable matchday rights in a behind-closed-doors environment.

The award-winning VR & AR agency East City Films provided output of the 360 live content and interactive storytelling. The content is shipped by Pico Interactive to influencers using the Pico neo2 headset, who specialize in delivering company VR solutions in the USA, Canada, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
