Sportradar Appointed BEC Official And Exclusive Data Partner

Since signing a formal agreement with the governing body, Sportradar has been appointed an Official and Exclusive Data Partner to Badminton Europe (BEC) for all competitions.

The multi-year agreement will expand the reach of Sportradar ‘s work with the governing body and add to the betting and broadcast relationship developed since 2015.

Under the terms of the agreement Sportrar must provide annual data from more than 35 BEC tournaments to betting operators and media outlets around the world. This covers European Athletics, European Men’s & Women’s Team Athletics, and European Mixed Team Championships, in addition to elite circuit competitions such as the International Challenge and International Series.

Senior Director at Sportradar, Lutz Tigges said: “We value the success we’ve had working alongside Badminton Europe these past few years and the trustful partnership we’ve developed. Together we grew technical and commercial standards including the global reach of Badminton events.

“Now, we’re excited to be supporting them as they utilise our broad range of products and services to grow the profile of their sport around the world and work towards their long term commercial goals.”

In addition, Sportradar will partner with BEC to raise awareness of its tournaments across core markets like Asia and Europe as well as in new and developing territories.

Sportradar will also use its OTT site to cover match action and editorial content, highlighting big events expected to be featured on The site will also feature material from previous competition draws, webinars and podcasts that suit on demand.
