Sportnco Joins Betway For French Website Launch

Sportnco has scored a huge coup by being the principal technology partner for Betway Group’s licenced online gambling marketplace

Sportnco, based in Toulouse, will provide with a completely customised online gambling platform as well as additional player account management (PAM) features that comply with French gambling rules.

The relationship with Betway comes after Sportnco made significant investments in 2020 to improve its platform B2B services, with the technology business now serving 36 real money gaming brands in 13 regulated jurisdictions across Europe.

Tier-1 giant

Hervé Schlosser, CEO of Sportnco, hailed the “arrival of a tier-1 giant to the French market.”

“Sportnco is delighted to be working with Betway in France. The group will be a fantastic addition to the country’s online and mobile sports betting scene and brings a wealth of experience, know-how and competitive spirit to the space.”  Schlosser remarked.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing it grow and develop its presence with French players.”

Betway has licenced operations in Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. France is the operator’s latest European market debut.

Huge global presence

Reactions to French initiatives Betway’s CEO, Anthony Werkman, said: “The Betway brand already has a huge global presence and we’re delighted to work with Sportnco to bring our range of markets and exciting products to French customers.”

Further developments in 2021 saw Betway owner Super Group declare that its main brand was preparing for an IPO in the United States, which would be managed by SPAC partner Sports Acquisition Corp. (SEAH)
