Sportech has announced that it has been admitted as an Associate Member of the World Lottery Association, an international professional association of state lottery and gaming organisations representing over 80 countries.
The international gaming technology company joins the current associate members of the WLA from the global lottery supplier industry in their new role, having been known as a provider of enterprise gaming solutions to national lottery operators, pools lottery, and charitable sports raffle operators for their long-standing expertise.

The announcement will see Sportech join BMM, Gaming Laboratories International, IGT Global Solutions, International Lottery & Totalizator Systems Inc, Pro-Lite Inc, Scientific Games International, Smartplay International Inc, and Spectra Systems Corporation as an associate member of the organisation.
The announcement builds on Sportech’s new lottery deals in North America, Europe and the Caribbean, with the global gaming technology company making significant investment in lottery with technology and expertise gained through the purchase of Lot.to Systems, the introduction of lottery bets on Sportech’s QuantumTM System software, and rapid growth in its Bump 50:50 sports raffle buses.
In addition, the organisation’s processes handle $12 billion in bets annually for casino players, and under exclusive licenses it owns and operates professional gaming facilities in Connecticut, USA.
The WLA, an international professional association of state lottery and gaming associations representing over 80 countries, is currently working towards being known as the global authority on the lottery industry and strives to uphold strong ethical principles and assist its members in achieving their goals.
