The Swedish gambling association SPER has honoured Daniela Johansson, Chief Responsibility Officer (CRO) and Paf’s Deputy CEO as a ‘Leader of the Year.’
On Wednesday SPER named the three winners of its inaugural ‘Swedish Gambling Awards,’ which honoured individuals and companies who have strengthened quality and promoted sustainability for the emerging gambling industry in Sweden.
Spearheading Paf ‘s mandatory deposit cap scheme and open customer service system, SPER has named Johansson as the leader of the year in Swedish gambling.
As a role model for industry leadership, SPER branded Johansson, who was ‘unafraid to tackle uncomfortable truths’ to encourage ‘operator transparency and improve all-round standards.’
Having made sweeping changes to its customer care programme including the implementation of a series of industry-first safeguards, SPER has awarded Paf as the ‘Sustainable Operator of the Year’ for Swedish gambling.
Judges of SPER stated that Paf had “led the way to improving industry standards,” worked directly against problem gambling and took on “initiatives few would dare to show.”
Elsewhere, Betsson AB has received the ‘Customer Satisfaction Award’ from SPER, with judges praising the revamped 24/7 customer support system of the multi-brand company as the best industry to meet evolving enforcement standards and customer requirements.
The president of the Swedish Gambling Awards Thomas Nilsson said: “We received very interesting contenders this year and it was a long jury process. The winners have started from a concrete problem, listened to customers and the market and found solutions.”
