Spelbranschens Riksorganisation (SPER), the independent trading body of Swedish online gambling has announced the four individuals who will vying for the ‘Leader of the Year’ award.
SPER will host its inaugural Swedish Gambling Awards ceremony on Thursday, March 26, honouring the companies and individuals who have brought trust, sustainability and creativity to the modern online gambling marketplace in Sweden.
Hosting only three categories, SPER will award the highest “sustainability” and “customer satisfaction” online in Sweden.
The inaugural awards from the trading body will be highlighted by its ‘Leader of the Year’ award, honouring the person who has lifted industry standards and accountability for all Swedish gambling stakeholders in a critical year.
Individual contenders include ATG Chief Executive, Hasse Lord Skarplöth, for effectively leading the existing monopoly in Swedish racing during a business transformation year.
Market veteran Casino Cosmopol’s Group CEO Per Jaldung is known for implementing customer advocacy corporate guidelines while strengthening market interaction with wider stakeholders.
Meanwhile, for her pioneering research on gaming controls and sustainability initiatives, Paf Deputy CEO and Accountability Officer Daniela Johansson is recognised as a SPER finalist.
Petra Forsström founder of Sweden’s’ Sustainable Gambling Academy’ is completing the leadership outfit, which offers critical R&D functions and future guidance for a more responsible industry.
A jury of experts, headed by problem-gambling psychologist Thomas Nilsson, the founder of the industry research laboratory Sustainable Interaction and other judges from all key disciplines of the value chain of Swedish gambling, will judge SPER’s finalists.
