Smarkets Announce Improvement In Oddschecker Grid For SBK

Smarkets is announcing a big improvement on the Oddschecker grid for its ‘SBK’ sportsbook app that has gone online.

The market odds of SBK directly indexing the Smarkets betting exchange will now be displayed through the market-leading comparison site of Oddschecker, attracting a reported three million unique users each month.

In summer 2019, the SBK sportsbook was launched as Smarkets developed its proprietary sportsbook app, combining its low-margin exchange rates with an intuitive mobile UX experience, adding new creative interaction to the sportsbook industry.

New features offered by SBK saw users served with a direct in-app Price+ comparison function, indexing odds against nine other online bookmakers, with Smarkets at the point of wager promising the best market pricing.

There is also a built-in social network in the app-only sportsbook that allows users to like and comment on the bets of other users, exchange tips with followers, and check out choices from leading tipsters.

Smarkets Founder and CEO Jason Trost commented said: “I’m excited that Oddschecker’s substantial user base can now see SBK’s odds on the famous grid. SBK’s blend of the superior pricing of a betting exchange with the simpler interface of a traditional sportsbook is unmatched in the industry, and there is no better place to showcase that than Oddschecker.

“For price-savvy customers, Oddschecker is the place to go to ensure you’re getting the best odds, and SBK is the best-priced sportsbook app in the country, so this move was a no-brainer.

“After partnering with Oddschecker for Smarkets nearly three years ago, joining the grid with SBK is further evidence that we are serious about disrupting the industry by offering the best value out there.”
