Slotegrator Release LatAm Study

Slotegrator, a leading supplier of igaming tools and business solutions, has released a recent study on Latin America’s rapidly growing sports betting and gaming industries, as well as their underlying growth potential.

The firm stated: “While all eyes are on Brazil in anticipation of the country’s planned rollout of its new sports betting regulations – expected to come into effect in mid-2021 – the broader Latin America region offers multiple other opportunities for new online casinos or established brands looking to expand.

Plans to liberalize legislation

“Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina all have sizable populations with a passion for betting. Brazil is one of a number of countries across the region that have plans to liberalize their legislation and begin issuing licenses.”

Overall, sales are growing at a “astonishing pace,” according to Slotegrator. The firm said: “Online casino gaming and sports betting is estimated to generate $450m in revenues in Mexico, and the overall value of the Brazilian sports betting market is anticipated to reach $1bn within the first five years of the market’s opening.”

Access to online casino gambling and sports betting

The company also celebrated the gradual growth of smartphone and internet penetration, which has provided people in a variety of countries with well-documented betting cultures access to online casino gambling and sports betting.
