Sky Bet has released new documentary starring Daryl Jacob, the online betting operator’s brand ambassador, ahead of the Cheltenham Festival 2021.
The film, titled “Daryl Jacob: Being a Jockey,” aims to capture the highs and lows of life as a professional jockey’ with National Hunt jockey Jacob as the focus.
The film follows a series of high-profile documentaries following athletes around a variety of sports, has been launched on the ITV Hub on-demand video service today (Friday 12 March).

“We are seeing that there is an increasing demand for brands to adapt to changing patterns of media consumption and audience behaviour and provide a value-exchange. The launch of this documentary is a great way for us to start 2021 and we hope it’s enjoyed by both racing fans and general sports enthusiasts.”
Throughout the documentary, the Irishman discusses his everyday struggles, including running, exercising, travelling, crashes, accidents, and other obstacles, as well as some of his biggest victories, such as riding the Grand National-winning horse in 2012.
