Shelley Williams Becomes Hard Rock Intl’s Dir. of Global Sales for Meetings & Events

Shelley Williams has been named the new Director of Global Sales for Meetings & Events at Hard Rock International.

Williams will draw on her more than 25 years of worldwide hospitality expertise, which includes stints with Caesars Entertainment, the Westmont Hospitality Group, and the University of Windsor. Danielle Babilino, Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing, will be her direct report.

Babilino stated: “Shelley’s overall experience and her intimate knowledge of our brand will be an invaluable asset to Hard Rock International especially as we continue to evolve the global sales and marketing effort in the meetings and events space.”

Previous position

Williams most recently served as the opening sales leader at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, the brand’s largest corporate operational hotel. While directing hospitality sales and convention services and serving as a post-pandemic business recovery leader, she was in charge of sales team recruiting and continuous training.

Commenting on her new role, Williams said: “It is a privilege to continue working with one of the world’s most globally recognized brands. This exciting new role will allow me to bring innovative ideas and opportunities to our ever-growing global portfolio of hotels.”

Williams graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, with a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in International Business. She also holds Executive Certificates in CRM/Business Strategies and Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University in Montevideo, Uruguay.
