SG Expands Partnership Wiht Montana Lottery

Scientific Games, a US gaming tech company, has expanded its ongoing partnership alongside the Montana Lottery, ensuring that the business remains the sole supplier of scratch games until August 2022.

The Montana Lottery is celebrated as “one of the first lotteries to opt for strategic product enhancements from Scientific Games,” including specialised papers, finishes and inks such as foil, holographic, MicroMotion, HD sports, Sparkle, LuxVelvet and LuxTouch, as well as products with more chances of playing and winning, such as the two-sided Scratch My Back sports.

Montana Lottery director Angela Wong said: “We are delighted to continue our innovation with Scientific Games on Montana Scratch games for two more years through this contract extension.

“We look forward to strengthening our current Montana Scratch offering with more exciting new games that both entertain players and responsibly drive state funding to benefit all Montanans.”

Upon its establishment in 1987, Scientific Games has acted as a supplier to the Montana Lottery and was chosen as the only primary distributor of instant games to help drive the state maximum proceeds.

The proceeds of the Lottery assist the Montana STEM Scholarship Program and the General Fund which funds most government and programmes in the state.

John Schulz, senior VP instant products for Scientific Games added: “The Montana Lottery has always been a leader in launching scratch games that feature our newest manufacturing techniques and licensed brands.

“They are typically one of the first lotteries in the US to try innovative approaches to traditional instant games, and we are honoured by the trust they continue to place in our Company for more than 30 years.”
