Scientific Games announced this week that a three-year contract extension for Scientific Games has been signed by the California State Lottery to serve as the Lottery’s primary provider of instant games and related services until November 2022, with potential extensions remaining until 2025.

Since the Lottery’s inception in 1985, Scientific Games has supplied the California Lottery with instant games almost every year. The Company has helped the Lottery expand video game retail sales wisely from $3.06 billion annually in calendar year 2013 to $5.06 billion in calendar year 2018 under the current primary instant games deal.
The California Lottery has been contributing $34.2 billion to the public schools of the state since 1985.
