SeventySix Capital Launch New Sports Advisory Venture

SeventySix Capital, the sports venture capital company that invests in sports tech, sports and sports betting firms, launched a new venture in the form of SeventySix Capital Sports Advisory (Sports Advisory) this week.

The newly launched outfit will advise top sports executives, leagues, organisations and athletes across the evolving sports management landscape with an emphasis on sports, sports betting, media and social responsibility.

Leading the Sports Advisory is industry veteran Dan Bravato whose varied experience includes Van Wagner Sports, Dan Gilbert ‘s Company Family, Manchester City and his own firm, Pitch 15 Sports Group, most recently.

Bravato said: “The mission of this organisation aligns perfectly with the trajectory of the sports industry. To date, the Sports Advisory has drawn industry leaders to take the lead in different practise areas as managing directors. Chris Yortsos, the co-founder of Bravato’s Pitch 15 Sports Group, whose sports agency has worked with sports franchises / teams, traditional sports leagues and brands, will lead the sports practise.

The sports betting operation will be headed by Evan Davis, former vice president and general counsel of Rivers Philadelphia Casino.

Comcast and Altice executive, Michael Schreiber, general partner of SeventySix Capital and former NBC, will head the media company along with managing director Rick Alessandri, formerly ESPN, Univision and currently part of Turnkey Sports.

The Sports Advisory is partnering with renowned business executives to help advise their client roster, in addition to the practical leaders.
