After winning a partnership to deliver its OpenGaming product range, Scientific Games has been selected to support Tipico’s upcoming igaming bid in New Jersey.
The online casino is expected to go live later this year as a supplement to the proprietary sports betting site of the company, with OpenGaming already being hailed as “seeing great success in New Jersey.”
Scientific Games will offer its Open Gaming Platform distribution platform as well as a robust library of over 2,000 games, consisting of in-house developed titles and material from a variety of third-party studios.
Adrian Vella, managing director of US business at Tipico said:“We’re very excited to partner with Scientific Games to offer our US sportsbook players a robust new igaming offering.
“With a solid history in the highly regulated US market, a huge library of games and proven platform technology, Scientific Games provides us with a strong foundation to build from as we continue to expand our gaming offerings.”
Tipico will soon make its debut in the US pending the requisite regulatory approval, starting with the New Jersey state. The company claims that its link-up to Scientific Games would allow new players to be attracted “through cutting-edge content and features.”
Dylan Slaney, SVP for SG Digital Casino, added: “Tipico’s decision to select OpenGaming to power its new digital casino once again demonstrates the quality of our proposition, and reaffirms our position as a leading supplier in the state of New Jersey.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the team at Tipico and look forward to providing them with all the support to ensure that together we launch a successful offering.”
