Nasdaq-listed Scientific Games Corporation (SGC) confirmed by issuing a corporate filing that former Group Chief Executive David L Kennedy chose to resign from the corporate governance board of the company.
Updating investors, SGC confirms that on 31 December 2019, after opting to retire from all business operations, Kennedy will conclude his 10-year executive career.
Since 2009 to 2016, Kennedy had previously served as Group Vice President of Scientific Games.
Kennedy would serve as Interim Group Chairman and CEO during his executive tenure during 2013, retaining corporate leadership ahead of Gavin Isaacs ‘ appointment as Group Chief Executive.
The company said: “On December 3, 2019, after more than ten years of dedicated service on both Scientific Games Corp board of directors and in executive roles, as well as decades of service to MacAndrews & Forbes Inc and its portfolio companies, Mr David L. Kennedy advised the company that he will resign from the board effective December 31, 2019 for personal and family reasons.
“The company deeply appreciates his service and commitment and wishes him well.”
