Scientific Games & Caesars Entertainment Launch Sports Betting in Indiana To Expand U.S. Partnership

On the 1st of this month at the Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in Shelbyville, Indiana, Scientific Games Corporation (SGMS) and Caesars Entertainment (“Caesars”) introduced retail sportsbook solutions. This launch marks the first location where sports betting wagers can be made in Indiana State and within the company sports betting partnership’s fifth state. With six more Indiana Caesars properties scheduled to be launched in September, to quickly increase the sports betting presence of the state.

Indiana Grand Racing & Casino is now enjoying the complete functionality of the OpenSports™ product suite of Scientific Games, which enhances the sports betting offer of the property. The launch involves alternatives for retail betting that make the user experience seamless and intuitive. In addition to off-track betting locations in Indianapolis, Clarksville and New Haven, Caesars and Scientific Games will launch the OpenSports™ product suite at Horseshoe Hammond, Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino, and Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino throughout September.

Following latest launches in Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania previously this year, with the implementation of OpenSportsTM solutions in Illinois and North Carolina, the sports betting partnership between Scientific Games and Caesars will continue to grow into new markets.

Scientific Games will take mobile sports betting to the Indiana properties of Caesars as permitted by legislation and expects to launch mobile alternatives this month in Pennsylvania and early 2019 in Iowa.
