Romania’s National Gambling Office Adds 20 Illegal Sites To Blacklist

Oficiul National pentru Jocuri de Noroc (ONJN), Romania’s national gambling office, added another 20 sites to its illegal gaming sites ‘blacklist.’

The blacklist sites include, a domain related to Bet365, as well as,,, and Megaslot.

The regulator has reported that each of the added sites will be blocked by ONJN’s Romanian Internet service providers ‘within 15 days’ notice.

Visitors to the blocked websites are routed to a page that states: “Your access to this site has been restricted by the National Gambling Office.”

Since 2015, the ONJN has kept its blacklist up and running ahead of the country opening its restricted online gambling market in 2016.

In May 2020, 57 gambling sites were blocked by the regulator, as it continues to counter non-compliant operators.

The companies attached to the blacklist may lodge a complaint about the decision within 30 days, which could be questioned at the Court of Appeal in Bucharest.
