RETAbet Signs Virtual Sports Integration Deal With Golden Race

Spanish operator RETAbet has signed an agreement to incorporate every game from the virtual sports portfolio of the Golden Race, primarily for the Spanish and Peruvian markets but open to future expansion in an agreement.

The content package of the Golden Race features more than 20 virtual soccer leagues and competitions, a wide variety of races and numerical games, as well as other creative virtual sports such as Real Combat and 33 Basketball.

RETAbet CEO Xabier Rodríguez Maribona said: “From the very beginning Golden Race was able to see the needs we had at RETAbet and adapt to them. We have taken into account their leadership in Latin America and, for our clients in Spain, being able to have Golden Race’s virtual games on demand will also be an added bonus to our entire offer.”

Golden Race CEO and Founder Martin Wachter added: “This is a very important alliance for both parties, and for the sector.

“RETAbet has just started to operate in Peru, where we are leaders, and in Spain where Golden Race has just obtained its license RETAbet has been a leader for more than a decade. We can support each other, learn together, and be a stronger player in both markets.”

Golden Race is beginning to make its mark on the Spanish market, having earlier this year earned the certification for offering virtual sports.

The manufacturer, meanwhile, enjoys market leading status for virtual sports in Peru. It announced the launch of La Libertadores in April last year – a new tournament focused on the most successful Latin American cup competition for its virtual football app.
