Reading FC’s collaboration with Casumo has been extended, with the online casino operator continuing as a significant club partner in 2021-22 following the conclusion of a two-year deal as principal partner.
Casumo logo will be seen on the sleeves of first team training equipment as well as across LED advertising boards at the Select Car Leasing Stadium throughout the upcoming season, which begins this weekend.
Casumo will continue to post promotional video material across its social media channels, as well as leading on a series of ticket and replica shirt giveaways, according to the club, which has invested “an enormous amount of effort and energy” into the collaboration so far.
Important community-based club
Mark Strijbosch, sports marketing communications specialist at Casumo said: “We already can’t wait for the new season to kick off and having fans back at the stadium will make the year extra special.
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with such an important community-based club and look forward to engaging more and more with the fans. Simply put, we’re one of them so here’s to a positive season ahead.”
Casumo has also gone to “extraordinary lengths to help the club promote inclusivity and equality within football,” according to the club when reflecting on the partnership thus far.
Reading cite rainbow-coloured nets adorning the goals, a different brand colour on the front of first-team shirts to support the Rainbow Laces campaign, and a shirt auction to generate money for local charity Support U as examples of this.
Tim Kilpatrick, head of commercial at Reading FC said: “We’re very thankful to Casumo for their support over the past two seasons. In particular, we are proud of the special relationship they so quickly developed with our fanbase.
“Casumo have gone above and beyond what we would expect from a sponsor, so I’m delighted they have agreed to continue as an official club partner going into our future as we collectively celebrate 150 years of history.”
