Pronet Strengthens Executive Management

By announcing the appointment of Colin McDonagh as Chief Sales Officer (CSO), Pronet Gaming, a provider of highly localised business platform and software solutions to grow market incumbents, has strengthened its executive management team.

McDonagh joins Pronet’s leadership in betting B2B risk management and trading systems supplier Sporting Solutions, where he served as Group Sales Director and secured a number of contracts for tier-1 sportsbook and lottery operators.

In his new role, McDonagh will be tasked with speeding up Pronet’s commercial pipeline development, targeting’ under-served’ market incumbents with Pronet’s tailor-made operating platform provisions for online sportsbooks, casinos, and retail verticals.

McDonagh said: “We have a unique take on platform provision, and I couldn’t resist the opportunity to join a real industry disruptor at the start of an exciting journey.

“I think there’s a huge amount of potential in emerging markets, particularly with a bespoke, market-specific offering, and I look forward to being part of a talented team as we look to secure our ambitious goals.”

McDonagh’s appointment follows that of Bobby Longhurst as Chief Commercial Officer, at this week’s ICE 2020 meeting, as a new Pronet executive team will highlight innovations in the business.

Longhurst also added: “The knowledge and industry experience Colin brings to the table is clear for everybody to see and he is going to be a major asset to Pronet Gaming.

“We have set ourselves some very tough targets, but he is the perfect person to lead the sales team. I am confident it won’t be long before we’re celebrating our first of many new deals together.”
