Pragmatic Play Release Ancient Greece Game Spartan King

In its latest hit title, Spartan King, Pragmatic Play now transports players to Ancient Greece, the game on the heels of its recent series of commercial deals.

The five-reel, four-row, and 40 payline slot, based on King Leonidas of Sparta, the leader of the legendary 300, sees players doing their hardest to protect the “son of the lion” and gain some hard-earned riches.

J-A card values, along with premiums, which include a shield, a helmet, ships, a hydria (vase) and a soldier with a sword, are icons included in Pragmatic’s new offering. Players that land five bonuses on a line receive 4 to 7.5 times the stake in winnings.

The King, meanwhile, acts as the Wild and is worth up to 20x the wager for five of a kind, while the golden Shield symbol is 2-2 in size and can land on the reels anywhere to replace any of the payouts and earn an additional skill during casino spins.

At least three bonus symbols must land on the reels in order to enable the extra spin mode, with players earning up to 12 extra spins. And a random multiplier of up to 25 times the stake will come with any shield symbols that land during the bonus round.

Yossi Barzely, chief business development officer for Pragmatic Games, commented on the new update said: “Spartan King sees players taken into the heat of battle to protect their King and win hard-earned riches in our latest high-volatility slot.

“We continue to produce games which prioritise an immersive, engaging gameplay and we’re delighted with Spartan King.”

The ancient civilisation-based title follows the recent festive holiday game, Christmas Carol Megaways, with both video slots further complementing the award-winning portfolio of slots from the developer.

Pragmatic’s latest offering, as described, is on the heels of a series of commercial deals that are in line with the strategic expansion plans of the firm.

The developer’s latest agreement with the Croatian sports betting brand, Pin Projekt, makes its full slot content portfolio available to the operators of the WWin brand, while also securing deals with the Nordic operator Kindred Group and the operator in Venezuela, thus further expanding its presence in the Latin American market.
